At Align Yoga we are committed to offering a variety of class styles so there is something for every yogi. While continuing to grow class offerings, class styles include, hot power, all levels, restorative and mat pilates. Special monthly workshops are also part of the studio, check out the studio for more details.
Why Infrared? Infrared heaters have a list of benefits, so pairing them with a workout? Amazing! Improved blood circulation, decreased inflammation, reduced cortisol levels, increased clarity. Hot Power: This is what we love and specialize in. Classes are heated between 90- 98°F via infrared heaters for an intense asana practice that will leave you feeling cleansed throughout the day. Infrared heat provides a safe environment to move into difficult postures, while challenging linking breath to movement. Our talented instructors provide different styles & techniques to challenge your personal practice. No two practices will be the same. Get ready to move, breathe & sweat in a supportive way that will leave your mind clear and at peace. Oh did we mention, at the end of every hot class you get a cold towel (a fave for our yogis!)
All Levels / Restorative: Warm practices, slower pace style of yoga, where teachers focus on relaxing the body & mind by holding postures. Longer, static holds enable you to access tissue – fascia and connective tissue. Deep holds allow you the ability to find stillness and ease in your body. Our warm classes are gently heated to 80°F, the perfect temperature for the body to relax without getting sweaty.
Mat Pilates: This full body workout is a new hit at AY. This class is warm but even hotter when we add small weights to intensify the workout. You can expect an upbeat playlist & and instructor who provides detailed guidance through the whole class. Never done mat pilates? Done it a million times? This is for you, for everyone! Classes range from 45-50 min and always end with a cold towel. You’ll be sweating and feeling great after this class. *Wrist/Ankle weights are required for this class.
Sculpt & Tone: Another excellent full body workout that you can get done in 45 minutes. This classes focuses more on the barre aspect of wellness routines, incorporating pulsing, reps, and working those smaller hard to target muscles. This class is great for anyone of any level. Teachers demo moves, so you can easily follow along!
The Extras: Workshops, Pop Up Pilates and more are offered once a month. We love focusing on something special and bringing you a fun experience in the studio. These are created for all levels, so everyone is welcome.
We encourage to check with the front desk that your mat is compliant with the studio. LULU / ALO / BMAT / LIFORME all work great. If you have another brand, please see the teacher before class, as other brands have stuck to the floor due to the coating on the mat.
